She is the first Women Boxer from India to make it to the International level and succeed in a stupendous way. She was the only Indian boxer to qualify for the 2012 London Summer Olympics. It did not end there, she went on to win a Bronze medal for India in Olympics.

She personifies an Indian Woman who looks after her family, home, cooks, work at the same time and make sure her kids are on the right track to achieve better. Today we see a lot of female medal contenders rather than men. Somewhere down the line, Mary has had a massive role to play.
